FAQs

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis allows access to your subconscious mind, this "internal hard drive," to modify or enhance your automatic behaviors in ways that better serve your goals and well-being.

The goal is change. The hypno-practitioner helps the client to find within themselves the resources necessary for transformation, acknowledging the uniqueness of each individual. In the state of hypnotic trance, reflexes, automatisms, and habits, deeply rooted in the unconscious, become accessible and modifiable. This facilitates a revision, adjustments, and transformations of these patterns at a profound emotional level.

It enables individuals to take control of their life, by establishing healthier automatisms to navigate towards their personal fulfillment.

Is hypno-coaching safe?

Hypnosis cannot compel someone to do something that goes against their values, morals, or will. It is based on cooperation between the practitioner and the client.

A reputable practitioner will always obtain your informed consent before proceeding with hypnosis coaching.

  1. Natural: Hypnosis is a natural way to achieve lasting positive change by addressing both conscious and unconscious thoughts and beliefs.

  2. Stay in control: During hypnosis, you are in a highly relaxed state, but you are still aware and in control, you can hear and speak. It's not a state of unconsciousness. You can exit the hypnotic state at any time if you wish.

  3. Create new perspectives: When you are in a hypnotic state, you can create new ways of seeing things or new ways of thinking for yourself. It helps the brain develop new capabilities, giving you more control.

  4. Privacy and Comfort: The coaching session should take place in a private, comfortable, and safe environment where you feel at ease.

  5. Follow-Up: After the session, there is a debriefing and discussion of the experience.

If you want to try these techniques, I will ensure that you feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.

Am I hypnotizable?

Absolutely. Every day, you dive into natural trances when you are captivated by a task or lost in thought. These moments where your attention is fully captured are forms of trance. Hypnosis uses this familiar phenomenon to help the guided person access their inner world, giving them the opportunity to solve their personal enigmas and achieve development goals. Your ability to enter trance during daily activities demonstrates your natural aptitude for hypnosis. Going into trance is a learning process, and the skills attached to it develop over time through experience.
